February might be the shortest month of the year but it was jam packed for me! I went on a plane for the first time in 20 years! I was in the same room and breathed the same air as Jamie Dornan. I passed through 5 states in 5 days. February was good to me but alas I think I’m ready to March into Spring <—-LOL. Anyway, sit back, relax, and let’s say hasta la vista to February!

A need colder than Siberian winter meets an attitude hotter than the Florida sun in #1 New York Times bestselling author Kresley Cole’s sultry new Game Maker novel.
Everyone fears the Master…
Rich, irresistible politician/Mafiya boss Maksimilian Sevastyan prefers tall, obedient blondes to fulfill his…complicated desires. That is, until the icy Russian encounters a disobedient brunette whose exquisite little body threatens his legendary restraint.
Catarina Marín was a well-off young wife until her world fell apart. Now she’s hiding out, forced to start working as an escort in Miami. Her very first client is beyond gorgeous, but when he tells her what he plans to do to her, Cat almost walks out of the door.
If pleasure is a game, play to win.
After their mind-blowing encounter burns out of control, the lovers crave more. If they escape the deadly threats surrounding them, can Maksim overcome his past—to offer Cat his future? Only then will she tempt him with what he really wants: her, all tied up with a bow.
The Master was the closest I’ve come to my first 5 star of the year. You really can’t go wrong with sexy Russian spies with a taste for dirty sex. Check out my review here. It was absolutely filthy and so much fun!
Books I DNF’d this past month:
Having heard of this title with other words such as stepbrother, priest, forbidden love, I’m sure you could see how I would be swayed to give this one a chance. Sadly, I gave this till about 13% and just decided to put it down for the time being. Maybe it’s just me but the story was all over the place and if there’s that much going on in the beginning of the story I can only imagine how that could go downhill from there.
This was a huge let down but I am not that surprised by it at this point. POV companions or whatever you want to call this are just bad news. I was really looking forward to seeing what Kellan thought during this important and emotional scenes and I literally feel that there was no distinction between him and Kira. Instead what I got was a watered down version of something I already read. I made it till about 30% and that was with some heavy skimming.
Last month we talked about Collaborative Fiction and this month it was all about those romances between step-siblings. Some are good. Some are not so good. It’s a trend that I am hoping will die down but at this point it keeps gaining momentum. Check out those post here and let me know if I am missing any titles from the list!
Stacking the Shelves
February was an awesome month for review copies! I have already read about 3 of the books shown and I can’t wait to dig into the rest.
Thank you Gallery, Berkley Romance, Bloomsbury, Swoon Reads, and Macmillan!
Fifty Shades of Grey Recap!
I had the most amazing vacation this month! Besides flying out to meet my blogging bestie Stephanie @ No BS Book Reviews in Maryland, we road-tripped it to NYC for an early premiere of the Fifty Shades of Grey film! Seriously, it was one of the coolest opportunities I have ever had as a blogger and as a fan.
Check out my recap of the event and my review of the film here.
Let’s Show Some Love…
Each month I want to show my love to some fellow bloggers. This month I’m showing love to…

I met Lucia at the beginning of my blogging career. She is someone who’s recommendations and opinions I respect and look forward to learning about. What’s coming in March?
I just started this one tonight and have only gotten past the first chapter but O.M.G. talk about an ugly cry. I wasn’t expecting to get punched in the feels in just a few pages but it happened. Make sure to come back on March 9th for my stop on the blog tour!
Let’s be honest. Who doesn’t want to read a book called Manwhore? I am really excited about this one and I hope it measures up.
What do you get when you put young Eleanor in a nunnery? I have no idea yet but I’m dying to find out.
What was your favorite February releases? What are you looking forward to in March?
