Breaking up is hard to do, as Kathleen Turner discovers. After a falling-out with her ex, high-powered attorney Blane Kirk, she’s moving on the best she can. Unfortunately, someone from her past is set on revenge and nothing short of killing Kathleen will stop them. Keeping his brother’s ex-girlfriend alive isn’t something new to assassin-for-hire Kade Dennon, but this time can he protect her from himself? She’s a woman he can’t convince himself to walk away from, no matter what it costs him. Regret is a constant companion for Blane as he realizes the truth behind the lies he’s been told. Can love heal the past, or can some mistakes not be undone? Murder reunites Blane, Kade, and Kathleen as the police put Blane in their crosshairs. Blane may lose everything unless he and Kade can find the real murderer before it’s too late. But if they can’t set aside their love for the same woman and work together, it will tear them apart. In Out of Turn, Kathleen is caught between two warring brothers, and the consequences may be fatal.
Out of Turn is officially my FAVORITE book in the Kathleen Turner Series! I have read and re-read this book 4 times because once wasn’t enough to wrap my head, nor my heart around everything that happened.
Out of Turn picks up a couple months after the disastrous and heartbreaking events that took place at the end of Turning Point. Kat is trying to pick up the pieces of her life and attempting to move on. But Kat has made plenty of enemies that refuse to let her run from her past.
Enter Blane and Kade.
Both men are thrust back into her life. Both men are intent on saving her. Both men are intent on loving her. Between gunshots and threats, past and present, new love and old love, Kat’s life and heart are on the line…
What I love about this series, especially this book, is that all characters have stayed true to themselves throughout. Despite some shocking (and awesome) moments between these three, I feel like no matter what team (Kade or Blane) I’m on, that I can’t go wrong. Both men are honorable. Loveable. Worthy. BUT there is one game changer that has solidified my team.
The game changer in this book: Kade Dennon
Kade *sigh* I love him.
To say that Point of No Return (Kathleen Turner #5) is my most highly anticipated release on 2014 is a huge understatement. I am literally on pins and needles, hyperventilating and anxious for the conclusion of this series. If you’re looking for a emotional, sexy, and suspenseful story, this series is a MUST.
