Front Man Leo Nash from the world-famous rock band, Nash, is the last person on earth Samantha Williams would trust. She's already learned about loving a celebrity the hard way and isn't signing up for another lesson.
Every time Sam gives Leo attitude, he wants to knock that chip off her fragile little shoulder. What the hell did he ever do to her, anyway? He's not used to women treating him like he's poisonous, and he isn't about to let her run away every time he gets close. He's had enough of people running away to last him a lifetime...when this one runs, he gives chase. But, catching Sam isn't as hard as he thought.
The sexual attraction between them is so thick, Sam can practically hold it in her hand. There's no way she can deny herself the promise of pleasure being with Leo would provide.
But, pleasure always comes with pain and when secrets are revealed and trust is challenged, who will run and who will chase?
Rock With Me is by far my favorite With Me in Seattle book! Kristen Proby has a knack of writing about drop dead gorgeous, successful, seductive and absolutely swooon-ish men. First there was Luke, than Nate, then Will and now finally Leo <3
Leo, Leo, Leo….where do I begin? Well he is toe-curling delicious.
Don’t ever lie to me, sunshine. I don’t ever want you to run until your legs give out on you like this again. The only time your legs will shake like this is if I’m inside you.
Anyways, Leo Nash is a rockstar. Tattoos, piercings, the whole delectable image. When he sets his sights on Luke William’s sister, Samantha, he is determined to get under her skin, and into his bed.
But Samantha is determined to not fall victim to his charms.
That is one sexually potent man. No wonder he’s so damn famous. And I am never going down that path again.
She constantly pushes Leo away despite the magnetic pull between them. And in true Samantha form she is a complete and utter bitch to Leo. Her disinterest and cunning words are used as her self-preservation, but Leo does not give up easily.
I would love to try to knock that chip off her shoulder.”
Bit by bit, Leo starts to crumble the protective walls that Samantha has put in place. And in return, we see this beautiful couple start to fall in love. But Samantha’s defenses are not easily let down despite the growing connection formed between her and Leo.
Rock With Me won me over on Team Samantha, something that I didn’t think was possible after book 1, Come Away With Me. Samantha has always come off as hard and cold, but she really isn’t. Samantha is almost self-efficient to a fault. She views any form of commitment as giving away her own independence and identity, but she met her match when she met Leo.
Leo, who is not without is own skeletons, is persistent but patient. He is understanding of Samantha’s hesitations and carefully works around their issues. I fell in love with him almost immediately. There is something lurking beneath his rockstar image that has you rooting for him the whole time.
I love the glimpses into each of the previous couples current lives. I am usually not a fan of series spin-offs. I normally go for series that focus on one couple only, but Kristen Proby does an amazing job of creating character depth and maintaining individuality between each character/book. After reading Come Away With Me, I wasn’t sure if I could love the other couples as I do with Natalie and Luke, but each book keeps getting better and better. Plus, the resounding theme of family that surrounds these group of beautiful, successful people is a bonus as well.
If your looking for a book to rock your world, then you have to read Rock With Me.
