LET’S BE HONEST….
I have no self control.
I have no self control when it comes to requesting arcs (Advance Reader Copies) that sometime are not set to release 6+ months from now. I have no self control when it comes to waiting till closer to release day to read them. While this is not a bad problem to have, I hate having to wait months to review and sing my praises. The Premature Connoisseur is my way to get the word out about these must-read titles without reviewing prematurely. Hopefully my lack of self control can help other readers find new books to add to their ever-growing TBRs.
Here are just a few of the books I have devoured ahead of schedule…
SILVER BASTARD BY JOANNA WYLDE
Recommended for: MC romance fans, not for the faint of heart.
Release Date: April 7th, 2015
What’s the word? I have been waiting on baited breathe every since Ms. Wylde announced this book months ago, and I have to say it’s worth the wait! MC books are hard because once you’ve read one all the rest start to sound the same. What I like about Ms. Wylde’s MC books (both the Reapers and the Silver Valley Bastards) is that they don’t feel predictable. Seriously, the plot always has a way of taking itself in a completely different direction then what you might be envisioning and that is just one of the joys of being a reader. Silver Bastard starts with a bang and I can’t wait to talk more about it around release day!
BEAUTIFUL SECRET BY CHRISTINA LAUREN
Recommended for: Fans of old-fashioned gentlemen, those not fans of previous Beautiful novels.
Release Date: April 14th, 2015
What’s the word? I know the recommendation part of this might have you scratching your heads, but hear me out. Beautiful Secret is so very different from the previous books in the series. Niall is nothing like his brother (one of the fictional loves of my life) Max Stella. He is 100% old-fashioned gentlemen. Think of Mr. Darcy minus the general crabbiness. Niall is the kind of man that believes in courtship and love before lust and sex. He is a breathe of fresh air and come April 14th you’ll find out why.
BROKEN JULIET BY LEISA RAYVEN
Recommended for: Fans of Cassie and Ethan’s crazy sexual tension and banter, redemptive heroes, flawed heroines.
Release Date: April 28th, 2015
What’s the word? I am obsessed with this series, in case you haven’t figured it out by now and the conclusion of Cassie and Ethan’s story is a must-read. Seriously, if you thought Bad Romeo was sexier than all get-out then you are in for one hell of a ride. I am a scaredy cat when it comes to reading the last book in a series, or in the case the conclusion of Ethan and Cassie’s storyline (the third book, Wicked Heart, will be about Ethan’s sister, Elissa) but I have to say I felt that Broken Juliet did this romance justice. Make sure you keep your eyes peeled around release for my review!
Have you added these to your TBR? What book are you most looking forward to? Leave me a line in the comments!
